Developing Oil Fields
When panic in the oil patch was ravaging the industry, Panex LLC and subsidiary Burrite Acquisitions began an aggressive campaign to acquire prolific oil fields located around Salt Domes.
We are currently developing The Bayou Choctaw Field located in South Louisiana.

Directional Drilling
Salt domes serve as optimal locations for oil and natural gas extraction. The dome’s salt structure, comprised of densely packed crystals, provides exceptional impermeability. As the dome’s apex rises, it exerts pressure on the surrounding rock layers, causing them to bend and form voids. These voids frequently serve as reservoirs for the accumulation of oil and natural gas.
In accessing these resources, directional drilling techniques are often employed to navigate through the challenging terrain beneath the salt dome, allowing for efficient extraction of oil and natural gas deposits.
